After a long and comprehensive period of development and testing, Leitner & Kraus is proud to present their new generation of Boehm Clarinet mouthpieces for both the Boehm (French-System) as well as Oehler (German-System) clarinets.

Manufactured from a revolutionary material called Zelltec and recently in wood, these mouthpieces are played with Boehm-clarinet reeds. The mouthpieces are available with tenons that fit either a Boehm or German Barrel, depending on the individual request of the player.
Reflecting the wishes of many Boehm players wanting to use a German facing on their French clarinets, as well as German players, wishing to use a more Boehm-type facing, L&K developed a series of facings that combine the tonal qualities of both systems, while emphasizing flexibility and ease of tone production. The result is a warm, round, centered sound, which remains covered and even in all registers. According to clarinetists who already play these mouthpieces, the sound is not only “better than rubber” but also the presence and projection of the mouthpieces is exceptional.
